Buffy vs Faith for the first time: personal home movies of stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt

By request here's the rest of the fight inside Angel's mansion. I didn't include it before because Sophia felt they were tired and hesitated too much between blows and she didn't like it. I think it worked well though - so here it is. (I talked her into letting me show it)

The very first time Buffy and Faith squared off was originally supposed to be only two hits. Once again I whined until they let me make it longer. I felt it was important considering the characters' relationship.

The only way to fit in all the other work that day and still shoot the fight was to have Sophia Crawford and Karen Sheperd perform the whole thing from start to finish.

SMG steps in to stop Eliza from staking Angel, but the director had decided he wanted to try a tricky crane shot with Angel's crash to the table and the actresses action all in one. That meant that if the actors were too slow, or the camera not in the exact spot to match their movements, or if Angel double Mike Massa should not land in the perfect position the shot would have to be done again. This turned out to be a bit painful for Mike and it was chopped up in editing anyway. It was a nice idea though.

Also, David (apparently) instructs the girls on punching just before the action starts... or something. I can't quite figure it out.
