Making a 2D Infinite Runner in Unity - Displaying the Score

Greetings, in this tutorial we shall be looking at how to create a 2D infinite runner in Unity. In this tutorial we shall cover setting up a visual score counter on a unity canvas, so the player can see how many enemies they have jumped over.

We will also be changing how we give the player a point. The point is given as soon as the player has jumped over an enemy. We will also add a new unity C# script to handle removing an enemy that has gone off the screen.

This endless runner tutorial is the first of a series where we go from an empty project to a fully complete and polished game to export to the Android platform and upload onto Google Play.
