Calisthenics Pre-Workout Self-Massage Routine For Myofascial Release (Foam-rolling)
Foam rolling aka self-myofascial release aka soft-tissue self-mobilization (self-massage in simple words) is something that I’ve found helpful when it comes to dealing with muscle tightness the last year.
Dynamic stretching, static stretching and mobility drills are still things I consider important but some days supplementing my day with some self-massage makes a big difference.
It can help you decrease discomfort and limited range of motion caused by these hypertonic muscles and trigger points so that they don’t impede your workouts.
