1960's Mighty Tonka Wrecker Tow Truck Restoration

This Mighty Tonka Wrecker was purchased online for $45. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Looking back, there are a few things I would have done differently but overall I am pleased with the final result. I hope you enjoyed watching and feel free to ask any questions.

The goal of this project was to return it back to original, as much as possible. The powder coat colors were Gloss White and Nostalgic Red, both from Prismatic Powders. The windshield was cracked and not repairable, so a new one was purchased from Gasoline Alley. A new tow hook had to be purchased as well. Besides rivets and axle caps, all other parts are original. The rivet setting tool used in the video was a Pintonka tool.
