REVELATION : NILADRI KUMAR (Sitar) - Raga Kaunsi Kanada

In the late 1990s Navras Records began to record the young upcoming talent of the Indian Classical Music scene. Niladri Kumar, then an extremely promising young Sitarist (now an established musician), was presented at a Navras sponsored Music Festival in Nagpur, India (February 1999), accompanied by an exciting Tabla player, Vijay Ghate. Here we present excerpts from the Drut Gat in Teentaal of Raga Kaunsi Kanada.
