1982 Pacific Typhoon Season Animation

The 1982 Pacific typhoon season saw one of the highest typhoon to tropical storm ratios on record at its time, the most notable storms being Typhoon Bess which remains one of the costliest typhoons to hit Japan and Typhoon Nancy which (by F13 reanalysis) became one of the strongest super typhoons in the South China Sea.
