The 1991 North Indian Ocean Cyclone Season featured several tropical cyclones during the course of the year. Out of these tropical cyclones, one truly stands out as one of the worst tropical cyclones on record. That cyclone being the Bangladesh Cyclone of 1991. A catastrophic storm which caused over 100,000 fatalities in Bangladesh, certainly a storm that will be remembered for centuries to come.
