A Global Roadmap for Just and Inclusive Cooking Transition
Transitioning the cooking sector to net-zero emissions emerges as a pivotal and economically viable strategy for attaining the global energy sector’s 2050 net-zero emission target and for limiting the global temperature rise to within 1.5 degrees Celsius. This event in the #SDGPavilion at #COP28 launched the final UN-Energy policy brief “Achieving universal access and net-zero emissions by 2050 - A global roadmap for just and inclusive clean cooking transition“, prepared by the World Health Organization (WHO) and World Bank with the support of UN-Energy. https://bit.ly/sdgpavilioncop28
