Questions selected for the campaign, "Building a Future We Want":
Pierre-Yves Brunet: Rio+20, also known as the 2012 earth summit, was recently held to address the global issues of sustainable development, the environment, and climate change. In moving forward, what are the next steps the United Nations hopes to implement regarding these issues, and what are the major lessons learned from the Rio+20 Conference?
Claudia Olsson: How can the latest technological progress be leveraged to address global sustainability challenges? What mechanisms could be put in place by the United Nations and international private and public stake holders to bridge the digital divide?
Jess Grogan: In what ways can we make proceedings on sustainability and development more inclusive for young people from around the world?
Max Douge: What recommendations/actions can be taken between governments and the private sector to work cohesively to create economic growth and job opportunities - within each country, as well as among different countries?
Global Peace Index: All our global challenges are interconnected:
underpinning them all is peace. How can the UN ensure peace and security goals are included in the post-2015 agenda?
