When I quit my job and transitioned fully to an online business that replaced my income, I had already built that business up to six-figures. In this video, I share with you the behind-the-scenes of how I was able to do it.
The first thing I did was I built a business on the things that I knew. After trying a couple of ideas that didn’t click, I eventually noticed that there were people in Facebook groups asking about Facebook ads. These were relatively new at the time, and it was exactly what I worked on in my 9-5 job. So, I started answering questions about that. Pretty soon, a woman whom I had been helping said she wanted to hire me. She later told me that the reason she wanted to hire me was because of the value and expertise I provided.
Another thing that helped me grow my business before I quit my job was choosing the right business model. I didn’t want to sell products because I knew I would need a high volume of customers in order to replace my income, especially considering all of the business expenses. With coaching, I knew I could simply sell my knowledge and I could charge what I made hourly at my previous job. At that hourly rate, I figured that all I would have to do to replace my income was get 20 clients. That seemed doable.
All of the tips in this video were crucial to my success. By focusing on what I knew and choosing the right business model, I was able to quit my job knowing that I had a stable income. If that’s what you want to do, I can help.
