How To Make Jamon Cream Cheese Rolls - Recipe

Thinly sliced Spanish cured ham (jamon) is wrapped around a creamy mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, capers, and dill for a tasty appetizer.

INGREDIENTS

8 oz (230g) cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tbsp capers
1/2 tsp dried dill
6 oz (170g) thinly sliced Jamon Serrano Spanish ham

DIRECTIONS

1. In a large bowl, cream the cream cheese until soft.
2. Cream in the sour cream and mix in the capers and dill.
3. On a sheet of cooking paper or plastic wrap, spread the jamon in overlapping strips - to create a rectangle about 8” (20cm) x 11” (28cm).
4. Spread the creamed mixture evenly over the jamon, leaving a 1” (2.5cm) strip at one end uncovered.
5. Roll up, wrap, and chill for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
6. Slice into 1/2” (12mm) rolls.
