Top 15 States in India Ranked By GDP Per Capita (1981 - 2016)

This video shows the GDP (in Rupees) per person for the Top 15 Indian states from 1981 to 2016. The data was obtained by dividing the GDP of a state (calculated using different base years) by the extrapolated population of a particular year based on Indian Census. Hence, while the numbers might be off based on the base year of calculating GDP, the relative order must be consistent.
