Timber Framed Barn Part 2 DIY Post Mount Bases

It has been very wet for the last few weeks and I have not been able to get out to mill timber or start the foundation but one job I could get done was the post bases. These bases serve two functions. one is to get the bottom of the post away from the ground to stop it rotting and the other is to fix the post down to the foundation. the barn is in a windy location and it needs to be firmly fixed down.
