ANABOLIC DOUGHNUTS -Can I make protein Dunkin Donuts??! 🍩 Low Calorie High Protein High Volume Donut
Watch this video to learn some baking science! I promise you'll learn something! Making anabolic pastries is NOT easy.
I'm using my culinary knowledge to change the way we eat, one recipe at a time! This time it was anabolic donuts, because who doesn't love donuts? I had to turn it into an anabolic version. Remember the 75% rule: Macro friendly food has to taste 75% as good as the real thing. That will be my goal in every single recipe.

➡️Recipe:
Makes 6 Donuts
80g (2.5 scoops) PES protein
40g AP Flour
8g Sugar
1/4t Instant Yeast
1/8tsp Salt
6g Vitafiber (or a sweetener)
1 Egg (separated)
30g Egg Whites
1/2 C warm water
3TBS Chocolate Chips (42g)
5g Cocoa Powder
2TBS Almond Milk
1.5 tsp Sprinkles, (1/4tsp per donut)
Vanilla Extract
Fresh Nutmeg
-Mix all dry ingredients together, separate the egg and consolidate the egg whites
-Add yolk and warm water to dry ingredients, mix well
-Let sit for at least 1 hour
-Beat egg whites into medium peaks, fold into dough
-Put dough into pre heated donut pan, bake at 350F for 9-12 min
-For icing: microwave chocolate chips, add cocoa powder and almond milk (optional sweetener)
-Top with sprinkles
-EAT THEM ALL!
