Situp is a simple exercise for the abdominal muscles or simply ABS.

Each repetition starts from a position with your knees bent and all of your feet on the floor. Your back is pressed to the floor, fingers of both hands touching the floor behind your head.

The repetition counts after the simultaneous touch of the hands with the toes, dumbbell handles, or the floor above the level of the toes. At the moment of touching, the entire foot must stand on the floor.

It is allowed to use AbMats or dumbbells to secure the feet.
