Here's a beautiful chord progression that sounds great when you're playing unaccompanied guitar.

Basically the first two chords are E7 to A

Step 1:
Play an E7 with the 7th in the bass (really cool sound)

Step 2:
Start the lick at the top note of the Diminished chord and go chromatically down 4 frets

Step 3:
Move to A Major

The chords sound classical and you can apply them anywhere on the fretboard! Dig the sound of that descending bass and moving parts!
