We were invited to cook over the Taste of London 2021 festival at the "Fire Pit". After test running the char siu recipe last week, we wanted to marinate the pork for a little longer to get it super tender and juicy, ready for action. We were about to feed a few hundred people!!

After lots of preparation and planning, Auntie Liz was left empty-handed for the event - near disaster hit after the meat failed to turn up. What did she do to get out of this pickle?
