Bamboo Dance at 2022 Toronto Dragon Festival at Nathan Phillips Square
The 2022 edition of the Toronto Dragon Festival reeled off at Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday, September 3, featuring acrobatics, fashion shows, lion dances on high poles, dragon dances, and mouth-watering street foods. In this video segment, the Canadian Association of Chinese Performing Arts staged Bamboo Dance, which has some similarities with the tinikling, the Philippine national dance.
