From Alexia's absence to Maxima and Amalia's vibrant looks: King's Day in the Netherlands

For another year, the Dutch royal family takes to the streets to celebrate Koningsdag, or King's Day. On April 27, Guillermo Alejandro's birthday, a city is chosen to celebrate this great day for the Netherlands, and this year, 2023, Rotterdam was the lucky one, dressed up to welcome the kings and their daughters, though not all three. Princess Alexia was absent from the Koningsdag celebrations for the first time, though there was good reason for that. Like Leonore de Bourbon, Alexia is immersed in her final exams at UWC Atlantic College, which don't end until mid-May. It is for this reason that Guillermo Alejandro and Maxima's middle daughter was forced to stay in Wales, unable to travel to her native country.
