MechWarrior 3: Pirate's Moon is the only expansion pack for MechWarrior 3, released for Windows just a few months later from the base game. Part 2 of the play-through plays from the pirate's perspective + bonus mission.

Game managed to (un)fix itself halfway through without my intervention. Game's now in fast motion, but perceivably not smooth and horrendously unstable. That final pirate mission was almost impossible having to fight the AI and game itself. But hey, at least AMS finally works again.
