Après 2 années de recherche et développement, des améliorations techniques ont été apportées pour donner naissance à la Superman 500. Équipée du calibre maison YEMA2000, la Superman 500 est déclinée en deux modèles et sera disponible dès le mercredi 29 juin. Les 200 premiers exemplaires sont gravés d’un numéro unique de 001 à 200. Tout en préservant son design iconique et emblématique, la nouvelle Superman 500 embarque de nouvelles améliorations techniques et une conception modernisée. L’Arc jurassien franco-suisse étant de plus en plus intégré, YEMA travaille désormais avec de nouveaux fournisseurs d’habillage locaux, tous situés à proximité des ateliers de Morteau pour une production plus responsable et de meilleure qualité. Le bloque lunette a été redessiné pour assurer une meilleure stabilité avec le tube de la couronne. Pour ce faire, la lunette a dû être repensée notamment avec des perçages supplémentaires permettant un déplacement optimisé du ressort de cliquet et un alignement plus précis de l’insert de la lunette. Avec une nouvelle disposition des joints, il sera maintenant possible d’ajuster le réglage de la lunette et de son bloque-lunette en surface de l’eau. La Superman bénéficie d’une étanchéité de 3 bars en position couronne dévissée représentant une amélioration majeure. Tout en conservant son épaisseur de 2,6 mm, le verre saphir double dôme a aussi subi une changement pour le rendre plus résistant tout en conservant l’ADN initial des Superman. While maintaining its thickness of 2.6 mm, the double dome sapphire crystal has also undergone a change to make it more resistant while retaining the original DNA of the Superman.
