Story line:
" Jack sat in a half-empty train car and looked out the window into the distance. He was mentally very far away, it was clear that he was a little excited. Outside the window, everything was white, past, one after another, tall lush pines rushed by, the branches of which were covered with a thick layer of snow. Jack was riding in this train car for the second day, and at the next railway station he was supposed to get off. The station was located in the village of Elingville, where exactly 18 years ago Jack was an intern from the college where he studied. After 10 minutes the train began to slow down, Jack realized that he had arrived, his heart began to beat a little faster. He took his suitcase and slowly walked out onto the platform. Looking around, he noticed that almost nothing had changed here since then. The same main building with columns and monograms, painted gray, with a large clock in the center, the same newsstand, paths and benches were also in the same places. For a moment, Jack felt like he was transported back in time. He liked it here, this place reminded him of his youth, and of the great love that he met here then. It was this love that, many years later, brought him here again, to the village of Elingville. He took his wallet out of the inside pocket of his coat, then pulled out a piece of paper folded in half. Unfolding it, he made sure that he had not forgotten the address to which he was heading: "Elingville, 14th street, building 21" and signed below: "Sophia Baker". This story with Sophia began then, 18 years ago, she and Jack were doing an internship together at the same enterprise. Jack fell in love with Sofia at first sight, and as it turned out, the love was mutual. Upon completion of the internship, they agreed that after a while Sofia would move to his city, after which Jack went to his home. Weeks and months passed, Jack regularly wrote letters to Sophia, but at one point, she stopped writing back. This greatly excited him, and he decided to go to Elingville again. He was shocked when he arrived and saw that Sophia's house was empty, and the neighbors said that they had moved to another state. Jack returned to his city, and years later he let go of this situation, despite the fact that his heart was hurt. Years passed, Jack could not forget Sophia, and after a while he again received a letter from her. His heart melted again. In a letter, Sophia told him a sad story that forced their family to move to another state. Years later, she returned to live in Elingville again. After long correspondence, Jack received a letter from Sophia, which turned everything upside down, she invited him to her house for Christmas. And so, Jack stood on the platform with a note in his hands, on which Sophia's address was written in cursive. He plucked up courage and got into a taxi, telling the driver her address. Sophia's house was on the outskirts of Ellingville. It was a beautiful scenic spot. Jack went to the front door of her house, knocked, but there was no answer. At his next knock, the door swung open on its own. He passed and saw a beautiful room in which a fireplace was burning, a Christmas tree was decorated, decorations, garlands and gifts lay around. He also accidentally saw letters on the windowsill, these were his letters, which he wrote to Sophia. And suddenly Jack heard that someone came in from behind, then a pleasant female voice, which he had wanted to hear for so long, said: "Hello Jack! How long have I been waiting for you ..."
