Swalwell Allegations_ NDAs, Interns, and Predatory Behavior Exposed

🚨 The frontrunner in California's governor's race is now threatening to sue the FBI.

FBI Director Kash Patel is pressing to release a decade-old investigative file involving Rep. Eric Swalwell and a suspected Chinese intelligence operative — despite no public evidence of wrongdoing by Swalwell, according to three people familiar with the effort. Swalwell's attorneys sent a cease and desist letter to Patel, warning that releasing the documents would violate federal privacy laws and expose the FBI to significant legal liability.

The investigation centered on Swalwell's past contact with Christine Fang, also known as "Fang Fang," who participated in fundraising for his 2014 congressional campaign and helped place an intern in his office. Federal investigators alerted Swalwell to their concerns in 2015, at which point he says he cut off all contact. No criminal charges were ever filed, and a House Ethics Committee review ended in 2023 without finding violations.

Swalwell currently leads the California governor's race according to a recent Emerson College poll, with Republicans Chad Bianco and Steve Hilton as his closest rivals. 5 News Swalwell called the FBI's move a politically motivated attempt to derail his campaign. The FBI has not publicly commented. Should a decade-old investigation with no charges influence how voters view a candidate today? 👇
