The Theory of Helicopter Flight (1969)
This 16mm film made for the U.S. Navy outlines the basic theory of how helicopters fly and how to fly them. We also see the many uses the helicopter has in both civilian use and the U.S. miltary with footage of them in action. In the teaching sequences, you will see some really expert hovering and low speed manouvering of the helicopter, they obviously used their
helicopter "top guns" for this film. Made by the Jamieson Film Company for the U.S. Navy, 1969.
