Action Loop (1978)

This 16mm film examines the construction of the Melbourne Underground Rail Loop Authority railway, as construction progressed into its seventh year, 3 years before actual completion. The Loop comprises 12km of tunnels and 3 new stations. The rail loop is an extension of existing rail lines, designed to help ease congestion in the city by improving the capacity of the public transport system.
