#Hurricane #Nicholas is pounding the #Texas coastline overnight. Intense winds caused near whiteout conditions along the coast with damage reported throughout Galveston. Broken power poles - a Chevron sign toppled and trees are down across the area. Some local roads are beginning to flood as well.
