Revaluating Cities - Nature's Newest Ecosystem

Cities get a bad name. The city as an ecosystem is our topic for today and we are going to explore where cities belong in the realm of nature. They are not unnatural as many naysayers will tell you. They are future harbingers of new niches of life. Give them time. Already we see the pioneering rats, pigeons, grass and ivy stake their claim.
On the other hand we will see cities growing back towards nature and see more greenery and trees occupying the city centres of our urban developments because it makes us feel more harmonious and serves an aesthetic purpose.
