View From Above: Stoicism and Our Big Blue Marble

The View From Above is a Stoic philosophy out of Marcus Aurelius's Meditations book. It is tied in with an idea from Plato - to view people and the world from above from a height in order to achieve the correct pathos of distance as Nietzsche would say to feel elevated enough to take stock and have perspective. This episode is part personal reflection on an experience I had whilst out on a walk the other day and part philosophical reflection on the words of Marcus Aurelius.
