Misfiring and Backfiring 2009 Sierra (Full Diagnosis) #misfire #backfire

Diagnosing a very misfiring and backfiring Sierra. Truck was at a client's shop for unrelated service when the problem occurred.
We realized that the issue only affected one bank of cylinders. We eliminated a mechanical failure by using a pressure transducer in conjunction with a lab scope.
Using the scope to compare waveforms we found the root cause of the rough running LS engine. The results are surprising!
