Arthroscopic Meniscus Repair
Meniscii are 2 semilunar cartilage structures in the knee joint providing gliding surface to the bones in the knee and also acting as shock absorber. They can be torn in any twisting injury to the knee and may need immediate attention if the tear blocks the knee motion. In this animated video the repair of the meniscus is demonstrated but in majority of cases the meniscus is reshaped rather than repaired.
