Communication Breakdown! No Can Bus (2017 GMC Savanna)

2017 Gmc Savanna Van, instrument panel information center flickering and not showing gear selection. Occasionally not starting, with ABS, Trac, Brake, and Engine lights on when it does start.
A DLC breakout box is used as a pass through for the scanner connection. This method makes it extremely easy to connect the scope to the Can network by plugging into the box rather than piercing the Can wires.
After the scanner is connected, ALL modules and systems are scanned. We always do it this way to ensure that nothing is missed. we found that there was no communication on the high speed Bus, but low speed was communicating. However, there were no related codes.
The breakout box made connecting to the Can lines easy, as Jordan demonstrates how the scope is connected to the chassis ground and both high and low Can lines. Immediately we can see that the Can scope patterns appear very abnormal.
Because we know that the high speed bus is the culprit, we use a wiring diagram to determine which modules use that circuit. This way we aren't unplugging modules unnecessarily.
Starting with the easiest module to access, the chassis control module is located just under the left floor. The connector has obviously been removed at one point, as the clip is damaged. The connector is revealed to have dirt inside, and some water runs out of the loom, but this module inevitably checks out OK.
Follow to the end as the true cause becomes obvious, both visually and electrically.
