York's Lost Castle - Clifford's Tower

In this latest video we visit York's Lost Castle and the only remains of York Castle, Clifford's Tower. It's history is rather remarkable and shocking. Today is stands above the city of York and from here you get brilliant views of York Minster and the surrounding areas. It's history is quite dark however, featuring the deaths of 150 Jewish people in the 12th century at the hands of some anti-semitic people. Interestingly this event was covered up by historians. Also we look at the history throughout the Tudor Times, Medieval Period, English Civil War and much more!
