The HORRIFIC Execution Of The Teenage Girl Of Majdanek

During the Second World War, a huge number of war crimes and atrocities were conducted during the conflict and when the concentration camps were liberated, the crimes of the Nazis shocked the world. The largest camp was Auschwitz, and here 1.1 million people had been killed inside the barbed wire fences. After World War 2 had ended, a number of war crimes trials were held to bring the perpetrators of the Holocaust to justice, and stories of true horror emerged. One woman who was brought to trial was Hermine Braunsteiner, who was a barbaric guard at Ravensbruck and Majdanek.

Braunsteiner was known as the 'Stomping Mare,' and she murdered dozens of prisoners with her whip and her bare hands. But during her trial, there was disturbing eye witness testimony that emerged that alleged that Braunsteiner was responsible for ordering the execution of a 14 year old girl inside of one of the camps she worked. Braunsteiner worked at Majdanek and during her time here she gained her feared reputation, and it's believed that she had a child executed in front of the rest of the prisoners to send a message or brutality to those inside of the camp. Braunsteiner summoned another SS guard to help her execute the young girl on the gallows of the camp.

It was said after the war, that Braunsteiner may have also executed another couple of children during her time as a concentration camp guard. It was clear that she was a war criminal, and was a brutal guard but after the war Braunsteiner managed to escape to America before she was then taken back to Germany to be tried. Much is not known about the girl who she executed, there isn't a name known and the records of the camp were destroyed after the war. It is also not known what crime the girl committed for Braunsteiner to take her to the gallows.
