Why You Have to Change Your Mind and Your Plans Sometimes (Business, ESL, Life)

If there's one thing that teaching English abroad taught me, it's that you have to be flexible and that sometimes life just doesn't go according to plan. Some people fear change. Many dread it or just put it off as long as possible. Others are scared to tell friends or family or people they associate with that they've had a change of heart or decided to act according to new information. This is one area I've had to completely revamp my way of thinking on. If you don't change with the times and strategize accordingly... you will get left in the DUST--guaranteed. Don't believe me? Look at Kodak, Polaroid, Blockbuster Video, Sears... etc. etc. ALWAYS be ready to innovate and come up with new ideas and fresh, efficient ways of doing business and you will become more adaptable and your movements will become fluid. Speedbumps and roadblocks will become nothing more than hiccups along the way.
