Think Before You Flush this Summer | Uisce Éireann
Almost a million adults living in Ireland regularly flush wet wipes and other sanitary items down the toilet impacting on our local environment a recent survey has found. Although this incidence rate is still too high, it represents a positive 33% improvement in the nation’s flushing behaviour (from 36% in 2018 to 24% in 2021).
Behavioural change is possible when we all work together for the greater good of our local community and environment. Along with Clean Coasts we're urging the public to continue to ‘Think Before You Flush’ and share this important but simple message.
