Forgotten Village - Exploring Abandoned Villa

This abandoned cotton mill was an amazing and quite educational explore to start off our Abandoned Italy Series. This Series will consist of 8 videos back to back from Italy. Series 2 from Italy will pick back up in early 2023.
As we all learned a thing or two about the way cotton is made and produced while we explored and researched the location. it was built in 1930 and was one of the largest cotton mills in that area. It was a massive location with multiple buildings, but the main buildings were the actual cotton factory and the villa. The owners of the cotton mill most likely lived in the Villa so they could be close to their business and they could keep an eye on their 500 or so employees. The villa was a gem of an explore; loaded with antique furnishings, such as a grand piano, a mirrored and mural’d bench, hand-carved wooden beds, and decorative armoires. The cotton factory closed down in 1990 after the owner failed to comply with newer and more modern safety regulations. It has been abandoned ever since with much of the various cotton products; such as handkerchiefs napkins sheets towels clothing and tablecloth‘s, where all left behind.
