Love Is The Sweetest Thing - Jack Payne & his Band (w. "Say it with Music" stills)

Jack Payne was the first of the major British bandleaders to star in his own film. Produced by Herbert Wilcox and with a score composed by Ray Noble (with the exception of the title song), the film was well received at the time.
The world premiere took place at the Dominion Theatre, Tottenham Court Road on Monday November 14th 1932.
This is one of Jack Payne's most popular recordings and it seemed fitting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of its' original screening with some stills from "Say it with Music".
