Betting Pros Are Making Six Figures From Pop Culture Wagers

Did you know some people are earning six figures betting on things like movie reviews, album release dates — even whether a CEO gets fired?

Some Americans are trying to earn big paydays by betting on outcomes in politics, sports, pop culture and more on sites like Polymarket and Kalshi.

Prediction markets come with an added risk, as a wrong-way bet truly does mean losing it all, with no chance of that bet recovering, unlike crypto or meme-stock traders who keep the underlying securities.

People like Caleb Davies and Brandon Fean have made significant amounts of money on prediction markets, with Davies making around $600,000 in the past two years and Fean making more than $60,000 this year alone.
