Barbell Squats don’t feel right? Try this for huge legs! #gym #bodybuilding #fyp
The barbell squat is still a go-to lower-body exercise for many lifters, but it’s also one where form is especially important. Some form issues take time to fix. If depth is limited, for example, it may require some mobility work. Other cues, however, you can start with right away: focus on staying braced, keep the torso stable, prevent the knees from caving in, and keep the bar resting securely on the traps with the upper back tight to avoid discomfort.
A helpful cue for upper-back stability is “drive the elbows into your back pockets” to stay tight under the bar. Aim to keep the bar stacked over the mid-foot throughout the rep so the bar path stays close to vertical.
