1973 Hamilton Day 'N Date 5007 Restoration | ASMR

Hi folks, Josh Wolfe with Wolfe Vintage Watches here. In this video, rather than drone on and on about wig wag pinons and setting lever screws with my narration, we're just going to listen to the sounds of servicing a vintage watch.

The watch in this video is a 1973 Hamilton Day 'N Date 5007. As it came into my shop, it was in pretty decent shape although it wouldn't hand wind nor run. The crystal was a loss, there was plenty of arm cheese to deal with, and a bit of rust made things a little more interesting, but it had excellent bones. In the end, I think it cleaned up wonderfully and it's running like a champ once again.
