A Vintage High Beat, Hacking, Quick Date Changing Watch? Yes, please!

In this video, I service a client's vintage Hamilton Clermont from 1973. The movement is a Hamilton caliber 631 which is based on the A Schild caliber 1920. There are a few things that make this movement unique. It is a high beat movement and beats at 36k bph which is double the frequency than that of most vintage watch movements. This movement hacks, or stops, when setting the time. And while a quick date set function is not terribly uncommon, the manner in which this watch tackles this complication is Rube Goldberg-like.
