5-Foot-2 American Woman Cole Brauer Sets Big Sailing Record
Cole Brauer is now officially the first American woman to race solo around the world. She began her journey through the world’s most treacherous waters some four months ago. The 29-year-old, 5-foot-2 powerhouse sailed 30,000 miles over 130 days. Cole joyfully waved flares as she sailed full speed into port. Cole is already planning another round-the-world-race, as part of a team. She says she hopes her solo journey will inspire other women to aim for historic firsts.
