In this caption animation tutorial, I'll show you how to quickly and easily add animations to captions on your videos.

Upload your video to VEED, and click the subtitles tab on the left, and then either Auto Subtitles, to create new captions, or you can upload a pre-existing caption file by clicking Upload Subtitle File.

If you are creating new captions, check for any errors that may have occurred. Thankfully, VEED makes it easy to view words that may be incorrect, as they are highlighted in orange. Simply select the word that is wrong, delete it, and type out the correct word or spelling.

When animating, you can either save time by selecting one of the templates available in the Subtitles window, or you can customise the animations by clicking the Animation button and selecting one of the 10 options.

From here you can customise the captions further by changing the font, size and colour. You can also add an effect to make the words easier to read, such as a drop shadow.

And now, when you play back your video, you can see the animation working word for word, with the correct timing!

When exporting, don't forget to check that the Burn Subtitles button is toggled, to make sure the captions are burned into your video!
