What's up you guys, today we are going to be breaking down some recent news out of the Ford Mustang and Lucid and their newest (and only) productions car, the Lucid Air. So, we will be breaking down what is going on, what this means for Turo hosts, and everything you need to know!

00:45 - Recalls
2022 has been plagued with recalls - earlier this year Tesla announced a recall of over half a million cars, the Ford Bronco has a recall, and now the Ford Mustang and the Lucid Air are the latest victims of recalls.

01:38 - Lucid Air
First, let's talk about the Lucid Air - this is a car that is brand new and it is a competitor to Tesla and other high-class and luxury electric cars. The Lucid Air recently announced a recall because of a potential failure in a suspension component of this car causing the brake line to damage, causing brakes to partially fail. This is of course not a good thing - but the reason why I think this is relevant today is that though I don't see the Lucid Air being a hot Turo car today in 2022, I do think that Lucid as a whole could be a great contender for Turo, and keeping an eye on these recalls will be important as it will give you a glimpse into Lucid and whether or not you should add a Lucid vehicle to your fleet.

04:40 - Ford Mustang
Next is the Forst Mustang, the Forst Mustang is a really popular car on the Turo platform and recently Ford announced a recall affecting over 330,000 vehicles from the model year of 2015 - 2017 - this means that any host with this year model mustang could run into issues temporarily while having this car on Turo.
