Civil servants के परिवार में जन्मी दुर्गा शुरू से ही UPSC exam crack करना चाहती थी और उन्होंने वो किया भी. IAS officer का पद सँभालने के बाद समाज की सेवा उनके जीवन का उद्देश्य बना.
उन्होंने खनन माफिया के विरुद्ध जंग छेड़ी, open defecation के बारे में लोगो को aware किया और साथ ही tree plantation drive में बहुत एहम भूमिका निभाई.
उनकी willpower, courage और काम के प्रति determination में कभी कोई कमी नहीं आई और इसीलिए आज वे न केवल हम लोगों के लिए परन्तु कितने ही civil servants के लिए भी एक inspiration है.

Her will-power, courage and determination for work has never decreased and that is why today she is an inspiration not only to us but also to many civil servants.
