The time and date of this satellite photo is as of 10:10 AM of December 15, 2021 (Wednesday) (Philippine Standard Time).

Typhoon Odette (Rai) was estimated based on all available data (as of 11 AM today, December 15, 2021, Wednesday) at 590 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (8.8°N, 131.7°E). It has a maximum sustained winds of 120 kph (10-minute average) and gusts up to 150 kph (10-minute average). It is currently moving west at 20 kph. Strong winds or higher extend outwards up to 330 km from the center.

La Niña Update 2021 (by PAGASA):
La Niña is likely to continue through January-February- March 2021-22 (80% chance) and returning to ENSO-neutral by March-April-May season (50% chance).
