Tropical Storm Dante (Choi-wan) is currently located (as of 4 PM of May 31, 2021, Monday) at 375 km East Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 455 km East of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte (9.3°N, 129.6°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is moving Northwestward (NW) at 20 kph. Its rainbands alongside with the Southwest Monsoon (or Habagat) affect Mindanao. Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas is currently under watch as the forecast track suggests that it will linger or make landfall near or on these areas.

-- The eastern portion of Northern Samar (Mapanas, Gamay, Lapinig, Palapag, Laoang) and the northeastern portion of Eastern Samar (Arteche, San Policarpo)

Meanwhile, the remnants of low pressure area (former invest 90W) is currently located south-southwest (SSW) of Guam or east-southeast (ESE) of Yap Island. It west-northwest (WNW). According to the forecast models, there is no to low chance to become a tropical cyclone within the next 24-48 hours (1-2 days).
