What the Pentagon has done with SpaceX will change the entire world's military!
Elon Musk's SpaceX has been a global leader in space flight and innovation for the past decade. Musk himself has also proven that his rocket company is ahead of its competitors in every aspect of the industry. However, this also makes SpaceX a target of copycats. Today, we’ll be discussing a very sensitive topic that involves the Pentagon trying to follow a specific set of SpaceX's plans.
What really happened between SpaceX and the Pentagon before?

So what exactly is the project that the US military wants to copy from Elon Musk?
In June of 2021, the Pentagon announced that it'll be launching an experimental program called Rocket Cargo. The Pentagon Budget Office requested $48 million dollars for the fiscal year of 2022 for the program.
And doing so for the same price as a "full fare economy in an aircraft," he says. The idea was to launch the rocket with its passengers to an altitude somewhere in low earth orbit, where air and wind resistance is virtually non-existent.
This of course would allow the aircraft to exhibit incredible speeds and enable it to cover over 10 times the distance of the fastest commercial airplanes at lower altitudes.
To give us an idea of how fast these commercial rocket flights are meant to be, SpaceX presented some flight durations with the intended rockets including: from New York to Paris in 30 minutes, Honolulu to Tokyo in 30 minutes while Sydney to Singapore would take 31 minutes. These are tiny fractions of the current flight durations and could change the concept of commercial air travel forever. Although back then SpaceX didn't reveal any specifics on the intended rocket for this kind of flight, we now know that the Starship is the only space vessel on the planet capable of this kind of commercial flight.
Fast forward to 2021, although the first Starship orbital flight has been delayed, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket has had more successful launch missions than any other private or governmental rocket in history. Especially since, as you know, SpaceX has recently landed a Falcon booster for the 100th time.
All this progress that SpaceX is making is really causing the Pentagon to become antsy and restless.
