Great Songs That Came Out Of Horrible Tragedies

Great musicians and songwriters have been known to find inspiration for songwriting from various sources. Rockers of the '60s and '70s were known to have written songs about muses they slept with and have even named albums after them.

Great tunesmiths like the Beatles even drew inspiration from everyday people and places, like Eleanor Rigby and Penny Lane. But there are also great songs that came out of horrible tragedies.
