Sharon and David live in Nir Oz, and Danielle came to visit her just for this weekend, for Shabbat, to be with them on the holiday. And they (were) brutally kidnapped from Sharon's apartment."

And after (the) IDF release (liberated) the whole kibbutz, David's father found that the apartment burned completely. And the safe room was open, and they saw nobody there."

"I was with her on the phone at 10:40 when she called me and said, 'Mommy, I was shot." Just imagine how a mother would feel when she hears her daughter on the phone far away from her saying 'I was shot.' 'I was shot, I'm wounded and bleeding, mommy. And the car is shot, we cannot move. Guy is not answering, Ben is not answering. And then I heard the boy who was sitting next to her saying, 'My name is Kfir Tsarfati, I was shot also. Please call my mom.' That's what he was thinking about when he was shot in that car, while they were shooting all around them."

STORYLINE:
Relatives and friends of those believed taken captive by Hamas during the Oct. 7 assault held a ceremony at the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City on Wednesday.

The event was organised by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, which represents relatives of those believed held hostage by the millitants.

The family members and prominent rabbis gathered on a rooftop overlooking the Temple Mount to pray for their loved ones.

The Islamic militant group is believed to be holding over 200 people, including an unconfirmed number of foreigners and dual nationals.

Four hostages have been released.
